WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The City of Wilmington is alerting residents that they may hear some noise on Thursday.

The city says between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. you may see or hear fireworks downtown.

Wilmington will be working with a potential fireworks vendor to test launch sites and review sight lines out ahead of next year’s Fourth of July show.

They want to alert residents and apologize for any brief noise or disruptions that may be caused by the testing.
