Free health screenings at the ‘Pender Rural Health Fair’

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Pender Rural Health Fair will bring together community organizations and residents in observance of National Rural Health Day on Thursday.

The health fair is presented by Novant Health Pender Medical Center and the Pender County Health Department.

Thursday’s event is free to the community and will offer health screenings, educational resources, and local organizations providing information on nutrition, family support, and other community services.

The event will take place at the Pender County Health Department located at 803 S. Walker Street in Burgaw from 11 in the morning until 1 in the afternoon.
