Town of Oak Island urgers drivers to use caution as holiday lights are installed

OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — The Town of Oak Island reminds residents to use caution as crews begin to install holiday lights in the town.
Crews with Brunswick Electric Membership Corporation will start installing lights Wednesday on Long Beach Road SE.
The decorations will be installed on streetlights or utility poles along the road.
The town says no road closures are needed but there may be minor traffic controls in the work area.
They urge drivers to use caution and adhere to any onsite traffic directions given.
The Town of Oak Island says the remaining lights on E Oak Island Drive and Country Club Drive will be installed the following week by a town contractor.
