Silver alert issued for missing Bladen County woman

WHITE OAK, NC (WWAY) – The North Carolina Center for Missing Persons (NCCMP) has issued a silver alert for a missing Bladen County woman.

The Bladen County Sheriff’s Office asked the Center to put out the alert on Sharon Dunn Elkins, 71, of White Oak.

The report claims Elkins is believed to be suffering from dementia or Alzheimer’s.

Elkins is described as being 5′1″, weighing 140 pounds, and having short gray hair and green eyes.

She was last seen wearing a blue sweatshirt and driving a burgundy 2018 Hyundai Elantra with the license plate number CHH6408.
