Two 18-year-olds arrested after Leland vape shop robbery

LELAND, NC (WWAY) — On Friday, two 18-year-olds were arrested after allegedly robbing a vape shop in Leland.

According to the magistrate’s order, Leland residents Alanta Patrick and William Duvall are both charged with robbery with a dangerous weapon and felony conspiracy.

The court documents say the teenagers stole plastic containers containing 50 packets of THCA gushers and glass containers containing THCA flower for a value of $2,500 from A&S Tobacco and Vape.

An employee was in the store at the time when Patrick and Duvall threatened them by implying there was a gun in their car.

Both were scheduled to appear in court Monday at 2 in the afternoon.
