Student artwork to shine during Southport Winterfest Flotilla
SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — Southport will highlight elementary school themed artwork in the 31st Annual Winterfest Flotilla.
Students from Southport Elementary School will follow this year’s theme of ‘Christmas by the Sea’ and the winning students will judge the Flotilla on December 13th.
The selected pieces will also be displayed throughout the month in the lobby of the North Carolina Maritime Museum in Southport.
The museum is open from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. Tuesday through Saturday.
