Wilmington to have first ever LEGO Convention

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Port City will host their first ever LEGO Convention as the Wilmington Brick Convention comes to town.

LEGO lovers of all ages can attend the event at the Wilmington Convention Center on September 12th through the 13th.

The convention is expected to have professional LEGO artists from around the country and a hands-on experience for the guests with the Construction Zone. Thousands of bricks will be available for attendees to show their creative side.

In a press release, Brick Convention says there will be life-sized models on display.

There will be LEGO retail for people to purchase merchandise, Star Wars Zone, Brick Pits, Castle Build Zone, Professional LEGO artist meet-and-greets, Fan Zone.

Tickets are available for $14.99 per day and can be purchased online.
