Wilmington man in custody following shooting investigation

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tuesday night, the Wilmington Police Department arrested a Wilmington man in connection to a shooting that left a woman with serious injuries that morning.
26-year-old Keshun Pridgen was arrested and charged with discharge firearm occupied dwelling/moving vehicles, possession of firearm by felon, and assault with a deadly weapon with intent to kill/inflict serious injury.
Pridgen is currently being held without bond at the New Hanover County Sheriff’s Office Detention Center.
According to the Wilmington Police Department, around 9:35 Tuesday morning a woman arrived at the City of Wilmington Haynes/Lacewell Training Facility seeking medical assistance. First responders determined she was suffering from a gunshot wound and had sustained serious, non-life-threatening injuries.
Police said the woman was a passenger inside a vehicle prior to the shooting. After the vehicle was struck by gunfire, the driver immediately drove to the training facility to report the incident.
The victim was then transported to Novant Health New Hanover Regional Medical Center.
