Wilmington movie theater still opens on Christmas

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– What is the next best thing after opening presents? Watching movies! Stone Theaters, located on Blockbuster Road, was open for Christmas, and several people decided to stop by and watch a movie.

Families and friends went inside the theater to watch films like Marty Supreme, Anaconda, and Zootopia 2.

Katrina Johnson, who went to go see Zootopia 2 with her family, says it doesn’t matter what activity the family does. All that matters is that they are all happy.

“It’s always good to get together with family no matter where you are, whether you are at the movies or at home. Anytime you are with family, not just on holidays, always love each other and make memories”, said Johnson.

On Tuesdays, Stone Theaters have discounted prices.
