Funeral held for Indochine founder Solange “Niki” Thompson

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY-TV) – A funeral for Indochine founder and owner, Solange “Niki” Thompson was held on Monday.

A private Buddhist Ceremony was held with Thompson’s family receiving visitors between 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Wilmington Funeral Chapel on 1535 South 41st Street.

Thompson, who was born in 1951, died on Dec. 18 at the Lower Cape Fear LifeCare Center.

Thompson leaves behind her husband, three children, four grandchildren, two sisters and four brothers.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be sent to Lower Cape Fear LifeCafe Center.
