Parks Foundation to host 2nd Annual Mayor’s Gala in Burgaw

BURGAW, NC (WWAY) — The Parks Foundation of Burgaw announces the 2nd Annual Mayor’s Gala, scheduled for March 14, 2026, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. at the Historic Burgaw Train Depot.

The Mayor’s Gala will bring community members, local businesses, civic leaders, and supporters together to honor Mayor Dawson’s accomplishments and reflect on the town’s growth and success. The evening will feature an elegant dinner, live entertainment, and a keynote speech by the mayor.

The evening will be hosted by Jeff Rivenbark from WWAY-TV in Leland, NC. The title sponsor for the 2026 Mayor’s Gala is Duke
Energy, whose continued support helps make this important community event possible. The Mayor’s Gala is designed to raise awareness about the many things happening in Burgaw while also serving as a major fundraiser for the Burgaw Parks Foundation, whose current focus is raising funds to construct a community splash pad that will benefit families for generations to come.
