Portion of Hampstead Kiwanis Park playground closing for new equipment installation

HAMPSTEAD, NC (WWAY) — Pender County Parks and Recreation released a construction update on the Hampstead Kiwanis Park playground.

Part of the playground near the large picnic shelter and concession stand at the park will be closed starting Monday for construction. New equipment will be taking its place.

The construction is expected to take about 4 weeks.
