Community invited to Black Family Wellness Expo in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington North Carolina Chapter of The Links Inc., is inviting the public to the family friendly Black Family Wellness Expo.

The event will take place on Saturday, March 21 from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the Derick G.S. Davis Community Center located at 1101 Manly Ave in Wilmington.

The expo is dedicated to raising awareness of health conditions that affect people’s quality of life. People can find information and resources on children’s wellness, fitness, preventative health screenings, and mental health for the whole family.

Attendees can also expect interactive fun like line dancing and children’s playtime.
