NC Pickle Festival marks 40 years with ‘Pickle Cruise’

MOUNT OLIVE, NC (WWAY) — To celebrate the 40th anniversary of the North Carolina Pickle Festival and the 100th anniversary of the Mt. Olive Pickle Company a “Pickle Cruise” will be setting sail.

Guests on board Royal Caribbean’s Utopia of the Seas will enjoy themed group events, and festive pickle-inspired activities.

“This is a chance for pickle lovers to unite and enjoy an amazing cruise experience, punctuated with pickle-themed activities designed just for them,” said Lynn Williams, Public Relations for the Mt. Olive Pickle Company. “How dill-lightful!”

The cruise will set sail September 18th through the 21st for a 3-night cruise out of Port Canaveral in Florida.
