The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue and Rehabilitation Center seeking community help

SURF CITY, NC (WWAY) — The Karen Beasley Sea Turtle Rescue Rehabilitation Center is asking the public for help as cold stun season continues.

They’re in need of 60CC Luer Lock Syringes and 20CC Luer Lock Syringes to be able to safely continue administrating fluids to sick and injured sea turtles.

Reptile heat packs are also needed to keep the turtles warm when transporting them offshore for release.

The rehab center also has an Amazon Wishlist for anyone willing to donate.
