DUBLIN, NC (WWAY) — Bladen Community College says the first kids of new year were born on campus recently.

The baby goats, two girls and one boy, were born at BCC on Sunday.

The babies are named Elsa, Anna, and Sven and they were born during the winter storm that brought ice to Bladen County.

All three babies and the mom, Loretta, are doing well the college says. The kids are explorers but don’t venture too far from their mom.

The goats are used as part of Bladen Community College’s animal science program to teach management, care, and handling.
