Town of Oak Island announces road closure for beach nourishment demobilization
OAK ISLAND, NC (WWAY) — From January 30 through February 9 a portion of West Beach Drive in Oak Island will be closed to break down equipment.
The closure will take place daily from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the area of West Beach Drive from 69th Pl West to The Point. No thru traffic will be allowed past 69th Pl West.
This allows for the demobilization and removal of equipment used in the beach nourishment project this year.
