NC 133 at Sunny Point shut down due to a traffic crash

Brunswick County, NC (WWAY) — According to Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office, NC 133 at Sunny Point is currently closed down due to a traffic crash and diesel fuel spill.

Deputies and emergency crews are on the scene, and the roadway will remain closed until further notice while cleanup and investigations are underway.

Traffic is being detoured through the Tiger Mart parking lot at this time.

Officials are asking drivers to plan an alternate route, allow extra travel time, and use caution in the area.
