Second annual CB MuralFest returns to Carolina Beach
CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — The second annual CB MuralFest is returning to Carolina Beach in the spring.
On May 16 and 17 attendees can experience live art, creativity, and community celebration.
This year’s event is themed Livin’ Carolina Beach which captures the culture and coastal lifestyle offered in the town.
The festival will feature 36 original painted 4′ x 4′ canvases displayed along Carolina Beach Lake from May 16 through September.
During the festival weekend, 32 North Carolina artists and local schools will take part in the open-air art experience where they will pain live as the public watches.
In September, all completed panels will be auctioned off with 50% of the sale going to the artist.
Attendees can also enjoy food trucks and love music throughout the weekend.
