Azalea Festival announces Dustin Lynch as Friday night concert headliner

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The North Carolina Azalea Festival has announced multi-platinum country artist Dustin Lynch will headline the festival’s Friday Night Concert.

Lynch will take the stage April 10 at Live Oak Bank Pavilion in Wilmington. Doors are scheduled to open at 5 p.m., with the show beginning at 7 p.m. The concert will be held rain or shine.

Festival officials said the Friday night performance continues the Azalea Festival’s tradition of bringing nationally recognized entertainment to the Wilmington area.

Lynch is known for a string of chart-topping hits, including 10 No. 1 singles and multiple top-five albums. His most recent studio album, “Killed The Cowboy,” produced his milestone 10th No. 1 song, “Chevrolet,” featuring Jelly Roll. He is also a member of the Grand Ole Opry and has toured nationwide.
