Court dates set for men involved in copper wire theft in Bladen County
BLADEN COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — Court dates have been set for three men involved in the theft of copper wire from several farms in Bladen County.
Last Thursday, February 12th, the Bladen County Sheriff’s Office arrested 30-year-old Robert Howard Butler of St. Pauls.
37-year-old David Wayne Parks of Elizabethtown had previously been arrested and charged in the investigation, along with 34-year-old Nicholas Goodman of Pembroke, earlier last week.
The arrests were made after detectives placed cameras on several farms following reports of copper wire theft.
All three men have been charged with first-degree trespassing, larceny, and several other charges each.
Butler and Parks were taken to Bladen County Detention Center, while Goodman was taken to Robeson County Detention Center.
All three were given no bond,s and their court dates are set for March 5th and 6th.
