Long-time military surplus store to close in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY-TV) – A long-time military surplus store in Wilmington is preparing to close its doors.

Strickland’s Surplus is located at 5915 Carolina Beach Road and has been open for 25 years selling military and first responder merchandise.

Come March, the business owner told WWAY, a new property plans to demolish the business and put in a storage facility.
