Novant Health announces opening of Scotts Hill Medical Center
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY-TV) – During a New Hanover County Commissioners meeting on Monday, Novant Health provided a five-year outlook which included details on its Scotts Hill Medical Center.
Novant announced on Monday the eight-story tower will open on Jun. 16.
Come 2027, Novant will also reopen its Verizon call center which is a 150,000 square food medical office space in Midtown.
Commissioner Stephanie Walker thanked Novant for their work in the community.
“People want to feel good about their hospital because it is pretty much the heart and soul of our community,” Walker said.
Novant representatives, shared the Scotts Hill Medical Center will be the first hospital to open in the county in 60 years.
