Award winning ensemble set to perform in Wilmington

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — An award-winning duo known for their classical performance with contemporary flair is coming to Wilmington.

Duo Karolina Mikolajczyk and Iwo Jednocki will take the stage on Friday, March 27 at 7:30 p.m. at UNCW’s Kenan Auditorium.

Using the unexpected pairing of the violin and accordion the duo has earned international acclaim for expanding the boundaries of classical music.

In 2024, the pair received Poland’s most prestigious award for classical music, the Polityka Passport.

The audience will be offered an unforgettable evening of musical storytelling.
