Protestors gather at 1898 Memorial Park, to disapprove U.S. strikes against Iran, and much more
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY)– Organized by ILM Action, over a dozen Wilmington residents gathered around the 1898 Memorial Park. Protestors chanted, held signs, and protested the strikes in Iran, and other problems they have with The Trump administration.
Cheyanne Santos, one of the leaders of the organization, says the strikes in Iran is something the country shouldn’t be involved in.
“Its a needles war. Most of our attendees, I’m willing to bet, feel the same way. They reacted with sentiment that regards what I with positivity. I would say, specifically to do with the Iran strikes right now. It is so un-needed,” said Santos.
Santos also encouraged the protestors to call congress, so that their voices can be heard on a much higher note.
