Springfest returns to downtown Southport on April 18

SOUTHPORT, NC (WWAY) — A long-running spring festival will return to downtown Southport next month, bringing live music, craft vendors and family activities to the city’s waterfront.

Springfest is scheduled for April 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in downtown Southport. Organizers say the event will feature musical entertainment, arts and crafts vendors, plant sales and a variety of food options.

The annual festival highlights local artisans, craft vendors and small businesses from the region. Attendees can browse handmade goods and other products throughout the day.

Children’s activities will be offered during the event, with support from the Southport Parks and Recreation Department. Organizers say live music performances and a swing dance lesson are also planned. Additional activities may be announced closer to the event date.

Springfest has been held in Southport for nearly 30 years.
