UPDATE – SAFELY FOUND – Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office searches for missing woman

BRUNSWICK COUNTY, NC (WWAY) — The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office is asking for the public’s assistance in finding a missing 89-year-old women, Marcia Yarbrough Craig.

Craig was last seen around 11:00 p.m. on March 1, 2026 and was heard leaving her residence around 10:30 p.m.

Craig is a 5’5″ 130 pound woman with blue eyes, white shoulder-length hair, and a small frame.

The Brunswick County Sheriff’s Office believe she may be driving a 1991 white Jeep Cherokee, with the North Carolina license plate RKM2050. Mrs. Craig frequently travels in the Shallotte area and has a blue tick hound named Roxy that may also be with her.
