Gov. Josh Stein says more than 70,000 NC voter registrations incomplete

RALEIGH, NC (WWAY) — More than 70,000 North Carolinians have incomplete voter registrations, according to a social media post from Governor Josh Stein.
Stein shared the information late Monday, urging voters to check their registration status ahead of casting a ballot. He said voters whose registrations are listed as incomplete can still vote but may be required to provide identification and could be asked to cast a provisional ballot.
Stein encouraged anyone who casts a provisional ballot to keep their provisional ID number in order to track the status of their ballot.
