Brunswick Community College announces spring job fair

BOLIVIA, NC (WWAY) — Brunswick Community College will host a job fair on April 8, offering opportunities for local residents and employers to connect.

The event will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Odell Williamson Auditorium on the BCC campus. Admission is free. More than 50 employers from Brunswick County and surrounding areas are expected to participate, with openings across industries including hospitality, healthcare, manufacturing, retail, law enforcement, plumbing, food service, banking, and beauty and wellness. Employers will offer positions with starting pay of at least $15 per hour.

Job seekers can take part in workshops such as “Writing a Resume That Works” and “Interview Skills to Get You the Job.” The NC Works Mobile Unit will be available for job application assistance, and a professional photographer will provide free headshots from 10 a.m. to noon.

Brunswick Community College offers associate degrees, certificates, diplomas, and continuing education programs designed to prepare students for higher education or entry-level careers.
