CFCC to host third annual Marine Technology Career Expo

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Cape Fear Community College will host its third annual Marine Technology Career Expo on Wednesday, April 1, 2026, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. in Daniels Hall, located in CFCC’s Union Station.

Attendees will have the opportunity to meet representatives from more than 20 leading companies and organizations specializing in marine engineering, vessel operations, environmental monitoring, oceanographic research, advanced manufacturing, and other maritime-related fields. Participants are encouraged to bring resumes and come prepared to network with industry professionals and explore current job openings and internship opportunities.

“As a coastal community, southeastern North Carolina is uniquely positioned for growth in the marine technology sector,” said Jim Morton, CFCC President. “This expo connects our students and community with high-quality employers while highlighting the innovative training programs CFCC offers to prepare a skilled workforce for this vital industry.”
