UNCW releases name and potential layout for new residential hall

WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — UNCW has released the name and multiple pictures regarding the residential hall under construction.

The new residential hall will be named Hammerhead Hall. It will include 540 beds, single & double rooms, pod style bathrooms, and additional community spaces.

Hammerhead Hall is expected to be ready for the fall of 2027.

Hammerhead Hall will sit on the land where Galloway Hall formerly was.
