WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) — In a battle of conference rivals, it was hosting Cape Fear Academy taking their girls soccer match against Coastal Christian 2-0 on Tuesday.

Strong saves by Centurions keeper Evie Munroe kept the game scoreless at halftime. On the other side, Claire Furmidge broke the ice to put the Hurricanes ahead and they never looked back.
