DUBLIN, NC (WWAY) — Small business owners and entrepreneurs looking to sharpen their marketing skills and explore the growing role of artificial intelligence will have a new opportunity this summer at Bladen Community College.

The college’s Small Business Center will host the “Marketing with AI for Small Business Summit” on Wednesday, June 11, 2026, offering a full-day, hands-on training designed to help participants attract customers, strengthen branding, and use AI tools to improve efficiency and outreach.

Led by Martin Brossman & Associates LLC, the summit will feature four structured sessions focused on practical, real-world business strategies combined with emerging digital tools.

Topics will include identifying target customers and refining messaging, building effective online content and social media strategies, creating sustainable marketing systems, managing online reputation, and leveraging advanced tools such as AI platforms, short-form video, and digital advertising on Google and Facebook.

The day begins with “The Ground Game,” a session focused on defining ideal customers and strengthening referral networks, followed by “The Web Game,” which explores content creation and platform strategy. After a midday break, participants will return for sessions on long-term marketing planning and advanced digital tools.

“This summit offers real-world strategies that local businesses can put into action immediately,” said Terri Dennison, Small Business Center Director. “Participants will leave with practical ideas, tools, and a stronger plan to grow their business.”

The event is open to the public, though organizers encourage early registration due to limited seating.

The Small Business Center at Bladen Community College provides free training, counseling, and resources for entrepreneurs and small business owners throughout Bladen County. Registration and additional information can be found on their website.
