WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Keller Williams Innovate agents across coastal Carolina will spend Thursday, May 14, giving back to their communities as part of Keller Williams’ annual RED Day of service.

RED Day — which stands for Renew, Energize, and Donate — is the company’s global day of volunteerism, during which associates step away from their regular business activities to support nonprofits, community organizations, and local initiatives.

This year, Keller Williams Innovate agents in New Hanover and Brunswick counties will partner with Sleep in Heavenly Peace, a nonprofit organization dedicated to building and delivering beds for children in need. Volunteers will gather at Independence Mall to help build beds as part of the organization’s mission to ensure no child has to sleep on the floor.

Meanwhile, Keller Williams Innovate agents in Jacksonville will work alongside the Jacksonville New River YMCA to support programs benefiting local children and families.

“RED Day is one of the most meaningful days of the year for our organization,” said Manda Price, CEO of Keller Williams Innovate. “It’s an opportunity for us to step outside of our business and show up for the communities that support us every day. Whether we’re building beds or supporting local programs, our goal is simple—to make a real difference.”

Since its launch, RED Day has mobilized hundreds of thousands of Keller Williams associates worldwide through projects ranging from disaster relief and home building to food drives and fundraising campaigns for local nonprofits.

Keller Williams Innovate is encouraging community members to follow along and support the volunteer efforts taking place across the region.
