76-year-old woman dies after pedestrian crash in Leland parking lot
LELAND, NC (WWAY) — A 76-year-old woman has died following a pedestrian crash in a Leland parking lot.
According to the Town of Leland, officers responded around 3:51 p.m. Thursday to a crash involving a pedestrian in the parking lot of Lowe’s Foods on East Cutlar Crossing.
The woman was injured in the incident and later died early Friday morning.
Investigators have not released additional details about the circumstances surrounding the crash.
The investigation remains ongoing.
