WILMINGTON, N.C. (WWAY) Bank of America, Merrill and Bank of America Private Bank cardholders can enjoy free general admission to the Cameron Art Museum this weekend as part of the bank’s nationwide Museums on Us program.

The offer is available Saturday, June 6, and Sunday, June 7, and is also extended during the first full weekend of every month.

Located in Wilmington, the Cameron Art Museum is among hundreds of museums, science centers, botanical gardens and cultural attractions participating in the initiative, which aims to increase public access to arts and cultural experiences.

Bank of America says the program reflects its commitment to strengthening local communities and supporting the arts, which it believes play an important role in connecting people, fostering cultural understanding and contributing to local economic vitality.

To receive free admission, eligible cardholders must present a Bank of America, Merrill or Bank of America Private Bank credit or debit card along with a valid photo ID at participating institutions. The benefit applies only to the cardholder and does not extend to guests.

The Museums on Us program provides free general admission but excludes fundraising events, special exhibitions and ticketed performances. Participation and admission policies may vary by institution.

Cardholders can use Bank of America’s online location finder to identify participating museums and cultural attractions nationwide and are encouraged to check directly with institutions for current operating hours and admission guidelines.
