Cheerwine launches 2026 uniquely southern summer promotion with Blue Ridge Mountain getaway grand prize
SALISBURY, NC (WWAY) — Cheerwine is bringing back its popular Uniquely Southern Summer Promotion for 2026, giving fans across the South the chance to win prizes inspired by the region’s distinctive destinations, traditions and experiences.
The Salisbury-based soft drink company announced the return of the seasonal promotion on June 24, with a grand prize centered on a four-night getaway to Chetola Resort in Blowing Rock, North Carolina.
Nestled in the Blue Ridge Mountains, the resort has earned national recognition, including honors from USA TODAY’s 10Best Readers’ Choice Awards and Tripadvisor’s Travelers’ Choice Awards. The winning entrant and guests will receive accommodations, dining, access to resort amenities and an on-property credit that can be used for spa treatments and other experiences.
The prize package also includes admission to several of the High Country’s most popular attractions, including Tweetsie Railroad, Grandfather Mountain and The Blowing Rock.

In addition to the grand prize getaway, Cheerwine is offering several themed prize packages designed to enhance summer activities. Among the prizes are more than 30 restaurant gift cards, tickets to professional sporting events in Charlotte and Atlanta, and a grill master package featuring a Blackstone outdoor combo griddle.
Thousands of instant-win prizes will also be awarded throughout the promotion.
