South Kerr Avenue lane to close temporarily for pavement repairs

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — A portion of South Kerr Avenue will have a temporary lane closure Wednesday morning as crews complete pavement repairs.

Beginning at 9:30 a.m., the southbound lane of South Kerr Avenue just south of Fountain Drive will be closed, with traffic shifted into the center lane.

Northbound traffic on South Kerr Avenue will not be affected. Drivers will still be able to turn onto and off Fountain Drive during the work.

Officials expect the temporary lane shift to remain in place for about three hours.

Motorists are encouraged to use caution in the area and expect minor delays while repairs are underway.
