Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — A casting call has been announced for featured background roles in the second season of the television series R.J. Decker, which is filming in the Wilmington area.

According to Kimmie Stewart Casting, producers are seeking local performers for two upcoming featured roles.

The first opportunity is for a still photography shoot featuring bodybuilders. Casting directors are looking for adults ages 21 and older of all genders and races with muscular physiques. The shoot is expected to take place within the next two weeks, although a filming date has not yet been announced. The listed pay rate is $150.

The second role is for a Latin male, age 25 or older, with a large, athletic build. Casting directors said applicants do not need to be competitive bodybuilders but should have a clearly muscular appearance. Filming is expected to take place between July 15 and July 23, with a listed pay rate of $180 per day.

Production officials said the director will select performers based on submitted photographs. Applicants are required to submit two recent photos taken within the past 48 hours: one full-body photo and one headshot. Professional photos, filters, mirror selfies, car selfies, hats, sunglasses and group photos will not be accepted.

Submissions must also include contact information, physical measurements, clothing sizes, vehicle information, visible tattoos or piercings, availability between July 15 and July 23, previous R.J. Decker Season 1 appearances, and city and state of residence.

Casting officials said applicants must be able to work as local hires in the Wilmington area. Travel and lodging expenses will not be reimbursed.

Submissions should be emailed to stewartcastingbg@gmail.com with the featured role listed in the subject line.
