Brunswick Community College names Gabriella DiSisto Executive Director of The Foundation

BOLIVIA, N.C. (WWAY) — Brunswick Community College has named Gabriella DiSisto as the new Executive Director of The Foundation of Brunswick Community College.

The college says DiSisto brings more than a decade of nonprofit leadership and fundraising experience to the role.

As executive director, DiSisto will oversee fundraising efforts, donor engagement and community partnerships for The Foundation. Her work will focus on supporting educational opportunities and student success at Brunswick Community College.

“I am absolutely thrilled to join Brunswick Community College and become part of this community,” DiSisto said in a statement. “Foundations like ours open doors for students who might not otherwise have the opportunity to pursue their education and career goals.”

BCC President Dr. Gene Smith said DiSisto’s experience and commitment to student success will help strengthen the Foundation’s efforts.

“The Foundation plays a vital role in creating opportunities for our students,” Smith said. “Her passion for serving others, combined with her experience building strong relationships, will help us continue expanding the Foundation’s impact for our students and our community.”

The Foundation of Brunswick Community College is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established in 1982 to support the college’s mission through charitable gifts and fundraising efforts.
