Holly Ridge Live NC moves to new venue, announces headliners

Holly Ridge, NC (WWAY) — Holly Ridge Live NC will debut in a new location this fall after four years in Surf City, with organizers saying the move will allow the annual country music event to expand its attendance and programming.
The all-day event is scheduled for Saturday, November 7, during Veterans Day weekend. Organizers say the festival honors members of the military community while offering a full day of live music, vendors, food and family-friendly activities.
During an appearance Friday on WWAY’s Good Morning Carolina, Shoreline Events owner Jeremy Shugarts announced two additional performers joining the lineup: Cooper Greer and Harper Grace.
They will perform alongside previously announced headliners Scotty McCreery and Lonestar.
Shugarts said the event outgrew its previous venue at Soundside Park in Surf City, where recent concerts drew about 3,000 attendees and sold out. The move to Holly Ridge is expected to increase capacity to more than 5,000 people.
He also cited logistical challenges, including traffic, as a factor in the relocation, while praising Surf City officials for their support over the past several years.
The festival will begin at noon and continue through the evening, with live performances starting at 2 p.m.
According to organizers, Holly Ridge Live NC has featured artists including The Beach Boys, Josh Turner, Craig Morgan, Clint Black and Easton Corbin in previous years.
More information about tickets and the event is available through Shoreline Events.
