Historic Wilmington Foundation to host Preservation on Tap fundraiser at Waterline Brewing

Wilmington, N.C. (WWAY) — The Historic Wilmington Foundation will host a fundraiser Wednesday at Waterline Brewing Co. to support its historic preservation efforts.

The event, called Preservation on Tap, is scheduled from 6 to 9 p.m. at Waterline Brewing Co., located at 721 Surry St. in Wilmington.

During the event, Waterline Brewing Co. will donate $1 to the Historic Wilmington Foundation for every pint sold between 6 and 9 p.m., according to organizers.

The fundraiser is intended to support the nonprofit’s mission of preserving and protecting historic places throughout the Wilmington area.

Waterline Brewing Co. operates out of the restored 1940s Jacobi Hardware warehouse beneath the Cape Fear Memorial Bridge, a building that organizers say reflects the value of historic preservation.

The event is open to the public.
