In-home care demand creates crew job opportunities in Brunswick County

SUPPLY, NC (WWAY) — While some workers worry that artificial intelligence and other emerging technologies are replacing jobs, one field continues to see strong demand: in-home caregiving.
Avid Health partnered with NCWorks on Thursday to host a hiring and recruiting event for Brunswick County job seekers. The company is looking to fill a variety of positions, including certified nursing assistants (CNAs), personal care aides (PCAs) and other in-home healthcare roles.
As the population ages and more baby boomers choose to remain in their homes, the need for in-home caregivers continues to grow. Avid Health officials say the demand has created opportunities for both experienced caregivers and those looking to begin a career in the field.
“We’ve identified a huge need for in-home care in Brunswick County, which is why we’re here today,” said Genevieve Williams, Avid Health’s director of operations. “We’re hiring CNAs and PCAs of all experience levels.”
