First round of Wilmington Muni Centennial Tournament lottery winners announced

WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — The first random drawing has been completed for the Wilmington Municipal Golf Course Centennial Tournament celebrating 100 years of the Muni.

According to the City of Wilmington, selected golfers have been notified by email, and the full list of players chosen for the tournament is available on the event webpage.

Players selected through the lottery must follow the instructions provided in their email to secure their spot. Payment must be received by Friday, Aug. 14, to reserve a place in the tournament.

If spots remain available after the initial registration period, the city said a second random drawing will be held Monday, Aug. 17, to fill remaining openings.

The Wilmington Municipal Golf Course Centennial Tournament will celebrate the course’s 100th anniversary.
