CAROLINA BEACH, NC (WWAY) — Residents and visitors in Carolina Beach should expect temporary traffic impacts Wednesday as the cast and crew of ABC’s “RJ Decker” film scenes in the town.

Filming is scheduled for Wednesday, August 5, from 7 a.m. until 9 p.m. Activities will take place along Lake Park Boulevard between Charlotte Avenue and Cape Fear Boulevard, as well as Swordfish Lane between Ocean Boulevard and South Carolina Avenue.

Officials said drivers should expect minor delays in the affected areas. Carolina Beach police officers will be on site to assist with traffic control and help maintain access for residents, visitors, and mail carriers.

The town also noted that Charlotte Avenue between Lake Park Boulevard and 3rd Street may experience temporary closures during filming.

Residents and visitors are encouraged to plan accordingly and allow extra time while traveling through the area.
