Cicily joined the WWAY News Team in June 2026 as a Meteorologist and Web Content Producer. She graduated from Florida State University in 2026 with a B.S. in Meteorology and a minor in Mathematics. During college, she interned in her hometown of Charleston, South Carolina and participated in FSU Weather for 4 years. Cicily is excited to start her weather career here in the Cape Fear region!
Cicily grew up with a passion for weather as she watched her local Indiana meteorologist on the TV during tornado warnings. Her dad would even make popcorn! She then moved to Charleston, South Carolina during the one-thousand year flood which ignited the spark for tropical meteorology.
When Cicily is not looking at the clouds, you can find her exploring new coffee shops, watching the sunset, and spending time with her two dogs.
