Children’s Museum of Wilmington announces 16th Annual YachtVenture fundraiser
WILMINGTON, NC (WWAY) — Tickets for the Children’s Museum of Wilmington’s 16th annual YachtVenture fundraiser will go on sale Monday, Aug. 24.
The event is scheduled for Oct. 24 from 6 to 9:30 p.m. at Bradley Creek Yacht Club.
YachtVenture is a 21-and-over fundraiser supporting the Children’s Museum of Wilmington. The event will feature yacht tours, food, cocktails, auctions and raffles.
Museum officials say proceeds will support interactive exhibits, educational programs, outreach opportunities and other hands-on learning experiences for children and families.
“YachtVenture is such a special night for us because it really captures what makes Wilmington unique, our beautiful coast, our incredible community, and our love of bringing people together,” said Patti Erkes, director of development at the Children’s Museum of Wilmington.
“At the end of the day, it’s about much more than a great party. The funds raised through YachtVenture directly support the Museum’s mission and help us continue creating meaningful, hands-on learning experiences for children and families in our community.”
Early-bird ticket pricing
Tickets will be available for $175 per person during a one-week early-bird period beginning Aug. 24.
The price will increase to $200 per person on Sept. 1.
The fundraiser will also include an “A Taste of the Coast” raffle, offering a chance to win $2,500 in local dining gift cards.
Raffle tickets cost $100 each, with 200 tickets available.
