Elizabethtown, NC (WWAY) — Bladen County business owners will have an opportunity to learn about digital marketing strategies through a series of seminars beginning in September.

The Small Business Center at Bladen Community College is partnering with the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce to host four Lunch & Learn seminars focused on online marketing and business development.

The first seminar is scheduled for Sept. 1 and will focus on increasing a business’s visibility in Google search results. Topics will include search engine optimization, keyword use and tools businesses can use to evaluate their websites.

A second seminar, scheduled for Oct. 6, will cover Facebook Shops and Marketplace, including how businesses can create listings and reach customers through the platform.

The series continues Nov. 3 with a seminar on Instagram marketing. Organizers say the session will cover topics including hashtags, stories, building an audience and Instagram Shopping.

The final seminar is scheduled for Dec. 1 and will focus on LinkedIn, including establishing an online presence, networking and using the platform for business development.

Each seminar will be held from noon to 1 p.m. at the Elizabethtown-White Lake Area Chamber of Commerce, 207 E. Broad St. in Elizabethtown.

The seminars are free to attend. Lunch will be available for purchase separately through the chamber.

The Small Business Center also offers individual counseling and other programs for people starting or developing businesses.
