LELAND, NC (WWAY) — The Leland Town Council will host its third “Let’s Talk Leland” forum on Wednesday, Oct. 28, continuing a series of informal town hall-style conversations between residents and town leadership.

The event will take place from 6 to 8 p.m. at Town Hall, located at 102 Town Hall Drive. Mayor Brenda Bozeman and Mayor Pro Tem Bob Campbell are scheduled to attend to speak with residents, answer questions and hear feedback.

“It’s been great to see so many residents attend our Let’s Talk Leland events,” Bozeman said. “We appreciate everyone who takes the time to come out, ask questions, and get information directly from the source. These events are an important opportunity to connect with our community and have open, honest conversations about the future of Leland.”

The forum will begin with a 30-minute informal social from 6 to 6:30 p.m., allowing attendees to meet with Bozeman and Campbell. A facilitated question-and-answer session will follow from 6:30 to 8 p.m.

Residents can submit questions at check-in or throughout the event. Town staff will follow up by email on any questions that go unanswered during the forum, provided attendees share contact information.
