Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association members recognized at 2026 STARS Awards
Wilmington, NC (WWAY) — The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association and several of its member companies received statewide recognition at the 2026 STARS Awards in Charlotte.
The awards were presented Aug. 31 during a gala at the Hilton Charlotte University Place. The North Carolina Home Builders Association’s STARS Awards recognize work in home construction, design, marketing and other areas of the building industry.
The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association received awards for its Shrimparoo Bull Riding fundraiser, PWB Sandcastles for Scholarships charitable event and annual Oyster Roast.
Four member companies also received awards. Trusst Builder Group was recognized for best builder brochure or newsletter. Kent Homes received awards for best builder advertisement and best design detail.
RMB Building & Design received awards for the “S. Moorings Residence” in the outdoor living space category and “Cowrie Lane” in the single-family custom home category for homes between 4,501 and 5,500 square feet.
Coastline Homes NC received an award for “The Sweetbriar” in the single-family production home category for homes under 2,250 square feet.
The STARS Awards competition includes builders, developers, sales and marketing professionals, interior merchandisers, web designers and local home builders associations from across North Carolina.
The Wilmington-Cape Fear Home Builders Association represents companies in New Hanover, Brunswick, Pender and Duplin counties.
